Thailand’s O-A long-stay route is for applicants aged at least 50 who meet its residence, financial, criminal-record, medical and insurance conditions. The Washington embassy lists one-year visa validity and a one-year stay. Employment of any kind is prohibited.

Washington asks for a recent clearance, for example an FBI certificate issued within three months; an unsigned online record is not accepted.
