Count short-stay days across earlier visits and a planned itinerary. Each day of presence is checked against that day and the preceding 179 days.
This tool covers the ordinary short-stay limit of 90 days in any rolling 180 days. It does not determine your immigration status, visa entitlement or admission. The European Commission guidance and official calculator explain the general rule.
Count only short stays in the Schengen area; travel between its countries does not restart the count. Check the Commission's current country list. The tool applies the current counting method to your entries; it does not reconstruct past membership or law.
Both arrival and departure count as full calendar days, including a same-day visit. Duplicate and overlapping trips count once. A single window's unused days are not necessarily the length of your next continuous stay, because earlier days fall outside the window as time passes.
The continuous-stay calculation checks up to 90 days from your selected date: a 91-day uninterrupted stay necessarily exceeds the ordinary limit. Enter an entire future itinerary to check for a later breach. An earlier possible overstay remains a separate issue even when more recent counts fall below 90.
Results depend on complete, correctly classified travel history and are for day-count planning. They do not grant admission or a right to stay. Border authorities decide those questions. The Commission manual explains inclusive counting, excluded residence periods and the limits of calculators.
