What happens to MM2H after 10 years?
As long as the new approval is obtained with your passport stamped before the expiry of your 10 years' MM2H visa, you are not liable for the JPV fee charged by the Immigration of Malaysia. Once the MM2H visa lapses, you are considered a tourist (JPV payment is for converting the tourist visa to MM2H Visa is required).

The Government of Malaysia has decided to temporarily suspend the Malaysia My Second Home Program (MM2H) to allow Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture (MOTAC) and related agencies to comprehensively review and re-evaluate the MM2H program since its inception in 2002.
