Permanent Residence by Investment (Regulation 6(2))

The Cyprus Golden Visa program grants permanent residency to non-EU nationals through a minimum €300,000 investment in approved assets. This residency-by-investment pathway requires additional annual income requirements and offers a route to eventual citizenship after eight years of legal residence.

If you wish to obtain permanent residency in Cyprus and you are willing to invest in the country, you may apply for a permanent residence permit (Category F) through the standard procedure. This scheme leads you to permanent residence in 1 year. To be eligible, you must purchase or rent a property in Cyprus.

To become a permanent resident in Cyprus, you must either live in Cyprus for five years with a valid temporary residence permit, invest a minimum of €300,000 in the country, marry a Cypriot, secure permanent employment or own a company registered with the migration department.

Cyprus Golden Visa cost The cost of a Cyprus Golden Visa includes: A minimum investment of €300,000 plus 19% VAT, which can be reduced to 5% for purchasing residential property for personal use (subject to conditions: total value under €475,000 and size under 190 sqm).
