Requirements and important conditions
Prepare the official remote-worker application and income evidence, Spanish translations and the correct dependant documents. Each accompanying dependant needs insurance for the authorised stay. Verify the authority’s current payment instructions directly; transfer fees must not reduce the required net payment. Do not send bank or identity documents to WhereCanIMove.

The official procedure describes a written decision and, if information is missing, a short correction window of eight working days. These are administrative rules, not an approval guarantee. Confirm residence-document issuance and the current renewal evidence with DGME; destination tax benefits do not remove US filing obligations.
