Visa-free access
A Dominica passport provides visa-free or visa-on-arrival access to approximately 145 countries including the entire Schengen zone (26 countries), the UK, Singapore, Hong Kong and most of the Caribbean. No visa-free access to the US or Canada.
Dominica vs other Caribbean CBI programmes
Dominica is the most affordable but offers slightly fewer visa-free destinations than St Kitts (157), Grenada (145) or Antigua (150). Grenada is notable for its E-2 treaty with the US — a Grenada passport allows you to apply for an E-2 investor visa to live and work in the US. St Lucia is popular for its flexibility and programme structure.
Tax
Dominica has no income tax on foreign-source income for non-residents. If you become a tax resident of Dominica (183+ days), you pay tax only on Dominica-sourced income. No capital gains tax, no inheritance tax.
Due diligence
Dominica's four-tier due diligence process is thorough. Applications from nationals of certain high-risk countries may be declined. All applications must go through an authorised agent — direct government applications are not accepted.
